This soundset explores the energy and dynamism provided by Serum’s digital waveforms, multiple envelopes and LFOs, morphing capabilities and stellar collection of effects. It’s full of upfront and kinetic, cinematic sounds.
Alpha is inspired by a number of composers and artists at the cutting edge of contemporary sound design and music, such as Lorne Balfe, Junkie XL, Ludwig Goransson, Brian Tyler, Hybrid, Hyper, Photek and The Bug.
It’s full of searing basses and basslines, rich and evolving pads, widescreen synths, colossal effects and, taut and thrilling sequences. Alpha brings a fresh palette of electronic signature sounds for contemporary scores and productions; perfect for Hollywood style action, atmospheric scoring, cyberpunk and, even breaks and drum ‘n’ bass .
Each patch comes with detailed programming on the modwheel and utilises all four of Serum’s macros, to create additional powerful and affective sound-shaping options for the user.
