At The Unfinished, I’m committed to having a friendly and open relationship with our customers. I want you to be happy to be my customer and to enjoy my sounds, and to know that my communications are aimed at making sure you know about my soundsets and sample libraries, and can save some money on them whenever possible!
For me it’s simply about rewarding your loyalty and earning your trust.
Only the most basic data is collected from my customers: name and email address. This information is solely used for the purposes of managing the mailing list, which I operate using MailChimp (whose Privacy Policy you can read here). My emails are simply used to inform you of new products, sales and discount codes.
I only hold information on those who have signed up to our Newsletter or have purchased a The Unfinished product directly from this website.
If you do not wish to receive The Unfinished marketing emails or have any data about you held, you are able to unsubscribe from the mailing list at any time. You can do this either by clicking the unsubscribe link on an email newsletter, or by contacting me directly via email.
Any further data that you may divulge as part of the purchasing process is held by my e-commerce partner, FastSpring, whose Privacy Policy you can read here. I do not use any of that further data (such as payment details) for any marketing purposes. We will occasionally access this data where it may assist us to resolve any customer queries regarding the re-sending of purchased products (though it is rarely necessary to do so).
I do not share your data with any further companies and I never will. Nor do I use it for any other purposes other than those stated in this Privacy Policy.
The data collected about my customers is only stored as long as you are happy for me to do so. When a customer unsubscribes or requests that it is removed, this data is removed immediately.
You can request access to the data I hold about you and/or amend it at any time, simply by contacting me via email.
