Nordsund II is the second collection of 200 Nordic Noir-inspired sounds for u-he Diva, following the original Diva Nordsund and expanding the series into stranger, darker and more unpredictable territory.
Inside are 200 patches designed for crime, thriller and drama scoring; from ominous analogue pulses and uneasy sequences to cold atmospheres, fractured textures, brooding basses and esoteric electronic sounds that don’t quite behave as you’d expect.
This is modern analogue. Nothing retro here.
Inspired by the Nordic Noir soundtracks of Beck, The Chestnut Man, The Darkness, Blood Sacrifice and The Glass Dome, as well as non-Nordic series such as Slow Horses and Under Salt Marsh, Nordsund II is designed to work alongside traditional dramatic scoring, adding subtle tension and atmosphere where you need it, while also providing everything you need to build darker, narrative soundscapes from the ground up.
