Hive Helix is a collection of 200 cinematic sounds for U-he Hive, blending the energy of electronic synthesis with the atmosphere and movement of modern film, TV, game and trailer scoring.
Built around animated sequences, driving basslines, rhythmic pulses, arpeggiated motifs and dynamic synth textures, Helix is designed to add electronic sounds with a strong sense of momentum and energy.
Helix is inspired by the hybrid-electronic scoring style of film scores such as F1 The Movie, Ambulance, Oblivion and Gran Turismo, game series such as GRID, Mirror’s Edge, Rainbow Six and Apex Legends, as well as TV shows like Mr Robot and Reacher. It also draws on my experience of working on similar projects over the last few years.
Featuring 180 synth presets plus 20 bonus drum sounds, Helix explores the synthetic on a cinematic scale; from subtle electronic underscore to full-scale, hi-octane impact. Its focus on evolving digital flavours and punchy hybrid tones are designed to celebrate modern, widescreen synthesis.
