Serum Alpha II is a collection of 200 patches for Xfer’s Serum.
Alpha II is fuelled by a powerful mix of crunchy basslines, tense drum rhythms, evocative pulses, and a wealth of atmospheric and savage synths and fx. It brings an industrial and electronic edge to modern scoring for the big and small screen, with dynamic, dramatic and distorted sounds that cut through a dense mix.
Inspired by the work of Tyler Bates (John Wick, Atomic Blonde), Ludwig Goransson (Tenet, Oppenheimer), Johann Johannsson (Prisoners, Sicario), Stephen Barton (Apex Legends, Watch Dogs) and Henry Jackman (Extraction, The Gray Man), as well as electronic artists such as Le Castlevania, Hyper and The Crystal Method.

These 200 patches were designed in Serum 1, before Serum 2 was released but, will work in both versions of Serum. Each patch has extra flexibility and dynamism programmed into four macros and the modwheel.
