Gemini is a celebration of all things synthetic, with a focus on classic and reworked analogue tones. It’s filled with nostalgia, warmth and familiarity, with a hint of the contemporary. If you’re into a bit of Berlin School, electronic ambient, or just want to add some pure analogue sounds to your score, Gemini delivers.
Great wafts of lush textures combine with solid and melodic synth basses and leads, glistening keys, effervescent arpeggios and sequences, as well as eclectic synth noises, that echo the past and speak of the future.
Gemini is inspired by classic artists such as Tangerine Dream, Vangelis, Jean-Michel Jarre, Klaus Schulze and Kraftwerk, as well as more modern day, future-retro synth evangelists such as Lisa Bella Donna, State Azure, Cate Brooks, Martin Sturtzer and Warrington Runcorn New Town Development Plan. It also features glimpses of the soundtrack work of Wendy Carlos, Paul Haslinger, Jan Hammer, Cliff Martinez, Giorgio Moroder and Steve Moore.
This soundset provides a lighter, more lyrical approach to its sister release, Diva Gemini Dark, which brings a darker, more serious atmosphere. If you’re into a bit of Berlin School, electronic ambient, or just want to add some classic sounds to your score, Gemini delivers.
